Training & Programs

Bayshore SC offers numerous opportunities to engage in technical training to further elevate players’ skills.

Technical Training

Through technical training with teams, athletes progress with their understanding of the small-sided “combination play” skill drills. Complex patterns of long, short, square, and through balls and shots improve the overall skill of each player and teams. Technical skills to trap, control, and pass are key components to move players into open field combination play through an understanding of the word “tactical.”

Goalkeeper and Striker Training

Club-wide technical goalie and striker sections were designed to have the young soccer athlete perform important and fundamental technical skills that can only be learned by repetition. Each session is designed for players to touch the ball more times than in a whole season of games. Players learn control and distribution of the ball by continuous repetition.

Summer Camps

In the first week of August, Washington College men’s soccer head coach Roy Dunshee and women’s soccer head coach Tom Reilly lead a weeklong high school prep camp and youth soccer clinic for Bayshore SC players.

Bayshore Soccer Club will be offering FREE spring soccer clinics! The clinics will be run by Queen Anne's High School varsity men’s soccer coach Wade Hosler.

Clinics will consist of 1 hour of instruction including technical work and small sided games that will help players learn, develop, or refine skills needed to take the next step on their soccer pathway!

Athletes just need to bring water, shin guards, and soccer cleats or athletic shoes (Sudlersville session will require indoor soccer shoes or athletic shoes).
