Michael Brophy

 

Technical Trainer

For the past 30 years, Coach Michael Brophy has been developing youth programs and camps and coaching youth from the recreational level to men’s college programs. He holds as USSF National C soccer license and is a past grade 7 referee. He has been coaching with Bayshore SC since 2007.

Previously a professional soccer player with Herne Bay United in England, he brought his coaching skills to a national title club in Boston, Massachusetts in 2006. Coach Brophy was the head coach of the Easton High School boys soccer team, leading them to the state finals in 2015 and two league and championship titles in 2014 and 2015. He also served as the head coach for Chesapeake College’s men soccer team from 2021-2023.

Coach Brophy believes, "the game is the greatest teacher," and it is his privilege and responsibility as a coach to appropriately train, coach, and manage each young player and team to ensure enjoyment, success, and development to his or her fullest potential.
